I have heard mention before of Jimmy Smith's influence as an organist, all I can bring myself to say of this particular recording is "yawn".

I am going to listen to all 1001 albums listed in the "1001 Albums you must hear before you die" book. Here I will be posting my views of each album. Although it is only fair to warn whoever may be reading that this will be a collection of completely biased reviews heavily influenced by my own personal tastes.

What music source do you use to find the albums. I know another blogger using LaLa.com but some of the albums are not available there to stream.
