I didn't enjoy this album, but I don't think I ever expected to.Musically I found the arrangments to be quite bland and uninteresting, while Holiday's vocals, though quite emotional, were rough, grumbly and lacked range.
Maybe if I was a woman struggling to find love the lyrics might speak to me, but I'm not so they didn't.
